Miaofan Chen

Miaofan Chen is an international student from China and a senior at Rutgers University studying Psychology and Cognitive Science. She is curious about sensitive knowledge preferences in different ages so that she may explore and design specific interventions based on it to help young children learn knowledge more efficiently. In the summer of 2022, she worked as an intern in Prof. Elizabeth Bonawitz's lab and was supervised by Dr. Lonnie Bass. It was a marvelous and unforgettable experience that better equipped her to contribute more to the cognitive developmental psychology and education fields and try to make the learning process easier for humans in the future. In her spare time, she likes playing table tennis and playing various musical instruments such as the violin, ukulele, piano, and kalimba.
