Maya is a second-year PhD student in the Harvard Graduate School of Education, with a concentration in Human Development, Learning, and Teaching (HDLT). She is interested in belief formation and revision, how biases and emotions affect cognition, metacognition of (un)certainty, and the process of curious exploration. She received a master’s degree from Boston College School of Education and Human Development and previously worked as an evaluator and applied researcher in the fields of education and social development.
