 Iris was a language instructor at Harvard University as well as a lab manager in the Bonawitz CoCoDev Lab (HGSE) and research assistant in the Rowe Lab (HGSE). She received a dual degree in Spanish Language &amp; Literature and Spanish Language &amp; Literature in 2016 from the University of Michigan and a master's in Education Policy and Management in 2021 from the Harvard Grafuate School of Education. She served as a Teach For America corps member in Eastern Kentucky Appalachia for four years and also taught in the Cambridge Public Schools. She is interested in the impact of environment on kids' language and cognitive abilities, particularly in rural areas.
